The Henne Family Estate of Drs Albert & Mary Henne  were enthusiastic supporters of the Ohio State University Chemistry Department. The late Dr Albert Henne was a Professor of  Chemistry and Researcher. His investigations in fluoridated hydrocarbons for example, helped lead to the development of Freons  for use in household refrigeration. The late Dr. Mary Henne held two degrees from OSU including a PHD in Analytical  Chemistry and a Pharmaceutical Degree. They were long time residents of Central Ohio and had traveled extensively throughout  Europe.
